My Story

Hey Everyone (aka Mom and Dad),

First of all, welcome! By the title of my blog it should be obvious that I love the holidays. I love everything about holidays and special occasions: cooking, wrapping gifts, planning parties, and making memories with family and friends. In this blog I will share my secrets and suggestions for making every holiday one to remember. I will share some of my favorite original holiday recipes and also other great recipes I love but can’t claim ownership of. My blog will give you all the tools you need to throw the most memorable holiday parties. Whether you are hosting or just attending a holiday affair, I have fabulous gift suggestions for any occasion and show you how your gift can stand out from the rest with wrapping. Basically, anything you need for any holiday will be on this blog. You may be skeptical of a holiday-themed blog but I think you will be surprised by how many times you turn to this blog for advice.

You may be wondering who I am and why I think you need my advice. Granted I am only 21, yet I have been the holiday maven for my family and friends for over 10 years. I have hosted parties of all kinds, cooked for over 100 people, won awards for my recipes, written countless thank you cards, and even usurped my dad’s workbench to create a wrapping station. I am a senior in college, have three jobs, play varsity water polo and am a sorority girl. I understand that having a busy schedule and work can make it hard to entertain and cook every night. That is why I want to reach out to the thousands of “holiday hosts” and make special occasions easier and more successful. I will show you how to make everyone think you are the perfect host… even if you would rather go to the dentist than do it more than once a year.

Wondering how to travel with Christmas gifts? Wish your guests would get out of the kitchen? Want to find a gift for a bridal shower? All these questions will be answered on this blog. I can’t wait to get started! Thank you for your support.

Love,

Taylor
